Pushing On

It is easy to get sidetracked with life. There are days when you’d like to stay in bed, pull the covers over your head and wish things were different. But, unless you really want to do that, you have to get out of bed and face the new day with determination and courage. Life is what we make it. We have to work at it and we have to determine we can get through the day. We must never allow people and circumstances to derail us from getting through the day. It is one day at a time. One step forward on the path that is set before us. Yes, we have choices to make in regards to how we react to people and circumstances that come into our playing field. The challenge is to do the best we can with what we have and keep going. You must have a vision and you must never lose sight of that vision. “Without a vision the people perish.” It’s true! We must see our vision clearly and keep going toward it one step at a time, one day at a time. The path may get tangled with briers and cluttered with obstacles, but we must continue on. Keep at it!
